Bob was a founding member of the Western Riding Club, the Snake River Team Penning Association and the Tennessee Walking Horse Club of South Western Idaho.
In 1983 when Bob could not find a slanted horse trailer that he felt was safe, easy and economical to pull, he decided to design and build one himself. As with everything horses, this soon became an obsession and we started American Horseman Trailers, which were shipped over the Northwest. We supported the Snaffle Bit Futurity every year we owned American Trailer. We sold American Trailer in 1995 to James Risch who sold to Circle J in 2005.
We are now just raising hay designed for horses, breeding and raising Tennessee Walking horses and doing boarding, lessons and training for all breeds of horses.

- Mr. Joe Webb was the only trainer to ever Finish 3 different World Grand Champions. He remarked to Bob “If I had a partner I would like to have had it be you”. Mr. Joe Webb passed on from cancer shortly after having one more clinic.
